Hall Clubs

Afternoon clubs are available to a limited number of the older children from the morning school. The clubs provide an opportunity for these children to participate in a diverse range of exciting and educational activities, such as: Cookery, Science, Computer skills (using iPads and electronic whiteboards), Exercise, Carpentry, Art Appreciation, Sewing, Drama, and Library & ‘Rhyme Time’.

Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis, and children who enrol are required to continue the club for a minimum of one term. Children will be asked to bring a packed lunch with them and can attend for one, two or three afternoons, depending on availability. The children participating in the club will be given their lunch following morning school and should be collected at 3pm. The timings of the afternoon are as follows:

  • Lunch at 12:30-1:00
  • Rest at 1:00-1:30
  • Gardens at 1:30-2:00
  • Activity at 2:00-2:45
  • Story time and Home time at 2:45-3:00

The clubs are designed to introduce the children to an array of new experiences, and to help them become accustomed to the longer length of the school day that they will experience at Primary level.
